Round 5 – Scott Enduro Cup

Following a hugely successful race at Deer Valley Resort in 2017, the SCOTT Enduro Cup will return as a two-day race for the final round of the season. Deer Valley Resort offers a challenging selection of lift-served downhill mountain biking on unkempt and technical descents and speed driven trails. Round 5 is the ultimate test of skill and the season finale you won’t want to miss.
Deer Valley Resort continues to work closely with world-renowned bike park development company, Gravity Logic, to pump out challenging new trails. The SCOTT Enduro Cup presented by Vittoria at Deer Valley is August 25-26, 2018.

2018 Category Descriptions
Pro/Open: This category is for professional level riders. The top five men and women finishers at each race location will receive cash prizing.
Expert: This category is for highly competitive, but not yet professional level riders. Riders will be awarded sponsor-provided product prizes.
Amateur: This category is for experienced mountain bikers with limited to no enduro racing experience. Riders will be awarded sponsor-provided product prizes.
Junior: Must be under 18 years of age to qualify. Riders under 18 are eligible to compete in the Expert or Pro/Open categories if skilled accordingly.
Deer Valley has been accepted as an EWS qualifier.
QUALIFYING CRITERIA
Riders must be EMBA members in order to be eligible to collect EWS Qualifier Series ranking points / be added to the EWS Reserved List. Riders MUST have the membership BEFORE the race – points will not be assigned retroactively. The 2018 memberships will be available at the end of February.
Top-ranked EMBA members competing in the 2018 Series will be added to the EWS Reserved List (to be published December 2018) and will be eligible for priority registration for all the 2019 EWS Rounds. Total number of riders qualifying in each category (based on their final year-end ranking) will be confirmed on January 16th (once the 2018 EWS Rules are published).
The top 3 racers in each official EWS category at every Qualifier Series will also be automatically added to the Reserved List (providing the racer is an EMBA member).
